In the first quarter of 2024, exports of apples from Georgia decreased by approximately five times.
According to the National Statistics Service "Sakstat," 961 tons of apples worth $675.9 thousand were exported from Georgia in January-March.
In the same period of 2023, 4,751 tons of apples worth $3 million were exported from the country. Since the beginning of this year, apart from Russia, apples have been exported in small quantities to Armenia.
