Georgia exports 2,346 tonnes of blueberries

Georgia exported 2,346 tonnes of blueberries worth $14.4 million between May 1 and July 5.

 

The volume of blueberry exports increased by 1,766 tonnes - a four-fold increase - year-on-year, with the value of the exports at $10.7 million, or a 3.9-fold rise.

 

Georgian blueberries were exported to Russia (2,207 tonnes), Poland (37 tonnes), United Arab Emirates (33.3 tonnes), the Netherlands (24.5 tonnes), Armenia (15.5 tonnes), Germany (11.1 tonnes), Qatar (4.3 tonnes), Kuwait (4.3 tonnes), Saudi Arabia (3.2 tonnes), Bahrain (2.7 tonnes) and other countries (3 tonnes).
