Turkey increased its fresh fruit and vegetable exports by 17% in the first six months of this year, said Ferhat Gürüz, head of the Turkish Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters' Association, Anadolu Agency reported on 12 July.
The growth of fresh fruit and vegetable exports in the first six months of the year compared to the same period last year was 17%, or 2 million 277 thousand tonnes of agricultural products. In monetary terms, this volume of products was worth $1.69 billion.
