Kazakhstan and France are negotiating to agree on veterinary certificates for the import of pedigree small cattle. This issue was discussed at a meeting of representatives of the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan with representatives of the French Embassy. This was reported in the agricultural department.
According to Amos Marie-Agnès, Adviser for Agriculture on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Issues for Kazakhstan of the Regional Economic Service at the French Embassy in the Russian Federation, businesses of both countries are interested in supplies of breeding sheep from France. However, there are no agreed bilateral certificates for this type of goods between Kazakhstan and France. In this regard, the French side presented a prepared form of a veterinary certificate for the import of live small cattle from France to Kazakhstan.
