Georgian peach exports up 4%

The export of 10.3 thousand tonnes of peaches since 1 May this year has earned Georgia $11.1 million.

 

According to the country's Ministry of Agriculture, the volume of exports is 4% (439 tonnes) higher than in the same period last year. Peaches were exported mainly to Russia (9,266 tonnes), Armenia (970 tonnes), Belarus (20 tonnes) and Ukraine (18 tonnes).
