Agricultural enterprises of Uzbekistan in January-June 2023 exported 3.5 thousand tonnes of lemons to seven foreign countries for a total amount of $2.9 million.

Compared to the corresponding period of 2022, the volume of lemon supplies to the foreign market increased by 968 tonnes.

According to the Statistics Agency, over the past period of this year, Russia leads the list of countries that bought the most lemons from Uzbekistan - a total of 2.7 thousand tonnes of citrus fruits were sold to this country.

Kyrgyzstan (388 tonnes) and Kazakhstan (357 tonnes) are also among the top three importers.
