In 2023, Azerbaijan exported 91,229 thousand tonnes of fresh apples worth $52.9 million. Compared to 2022, exports increased by 10.9% in volume terms and by 10% in value terms. Russia accounted for the majority of exports.

In particular, 79,548 thousand tonnes of fresh apples (+3.2%) worth $51.75 million (+3.1%) were exported to Russia in 2023. In total, Russia accounted for 87.2% of Azerbaijan's apple exports. Azerbaijan exported 82.291 thousand tonnes of fresh apples in 2022.

Compared to 2021, exports increased by 23.1% in volume terms and by 39.2% in value terms.
