According to the Statistics Agency, Uzbekistan imported about 133.5 thousand tonnes of bananas from abroad in 2023, worth $95.1 million.

In 2022, this figure was 140.2 thousand tonnes, worth $63.4 million.

Countries from which Uzbekistan imported the most bananas in 2023:

1. Ecuador - 130 thousand tonnes;

2. China - 1,043 tonnes;

3. Georgia - 976 tonnes;

4. Turkey - 746 tonnes;

5. Kazakhstan - 375 tonnes.
