In January 2024, Azerbaijan's agricultural production volume reached AZN 954.7 million, a 0.1% increase from the same period in 2023.

The State Committee of Azerbaijan reported that animal husbandry production increased by 0.3% to AZN 908.2 million, while crop production increased by 3.8% to AZN 46.5 million. On 1st March of this year, spring crops were planted on 64.1 thousand hectares.

This included 11.6 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops (including wheat), 11.7 thousand hectares of potatoes, and 13.5 thousand hectares of vegetables.
