Georgia has increased export of livestock

In 2023, Georgia exported 173.4 thousand cattle, a 31.7% increase from the previous year. Meanwhile, the country imported 41.4 thousand cattle, a significant increase from the mere 200 imported in 2022.

Poultry exports from Georgia amounted to 15.3 million pieces, a 12.6% increase, while imports reached 9.5 million pieces, a 33.7% increase.

Pig imports increased by 53.4%, totaling 157.5 thousand heads, while exports decreased by 94.3% to only 200 heads compared to 2022.
