Over the seven months of 2023, Georgia imported table grapes worth $2.7 million, mainly from Uzbekistan, Armenia and Iran.
In quantitative terms, imports amounted to 2,232 tons of both fresh and dried table grapes, reports EastFruit.
According to Gruzstat, the largest amount of grapes came from Armenia - $ 1,128 million (1,179 tons), followed by Uzbekistan - $ 699,400 (453 tons) and Iran - $ 467,940 (280 tons).
The top five also includes Turkey - $ 240,740 (242 tons), the Netherlands - $ 239,390 (71 tons).
